She says that YOGA has given her new life, she was suffering from Neck pain, so,she started practicing yoga asans for pain relief, and that’s how , she gained interest and went deep rooted in it. She is in love with yoga, it gives her immense peace, helps to be calm and composite. She has released few CD’s and DVD’s on yoga not for the purpose to earn money but to spread the awareness and benefits of YOGA.
Her Fitness routine:-
Morning: She started her day with Aloe Vera or Amla juice followed by porridge and tea with brown sugar
Lunch: brown rice/chappati with high fiber ingredients, dal, chicken curry and vegetable.
Evening: One brown bread toast, one egg and green tea.
Dinner: Salads, soup and chicken dish by 8 pm.
Shilpa Shetty workout regime
She executes more or less all workouts to have sculpted body figure. She has divided the 7 days into different workout regime,the Bollywood superstar performs Yoga, Pranayam and Meditation (Dhyan) for two days, strength training exercises for two days and one day for cardiovascular exercises. For rigorous workout, the beauty icon likes to perform heavy weight exercises to give her muscles a better shape.
Shilpa Shetty’s Diet Plan
The Gorgeous actress likes to have balanced diet and proper meal diet to keep herself slender, fit. She takes approx 1700-1800 calories per day. She prefers in taking carbohydrates like brown rice, brown bread. she likes to have protein shakes, dates post her workout. She likes to have green tea, and avoids aerated drinks. she is a believer of having early dinner by approx 8pm so that, she has minimum 3 hours to let the food digest before she goes to bed.
